Our firm, a New York City-based owner, operator and developer of residential and mixed-use real estate, is seeking an Acquisitions Analyst who will work across strategies and asset classes.
The candidate will be responsible for generating financial analysis; preparing investment memoranda and supporting transaction execution.
Joining a nimble, entrepreneurial team, the analyst will have extensive exposure to and opportunities to work directly with the firm's Chief Investment Officer and other senior team members.
The position provides opportunities to work on equity, debt and hybrid capital transactions with a deep roster of institutional investment partners.

Responsibilities:
Prepare underwriting models for new acquisitions and debt/preferred equity originations
Draft investment memoranda for internal investment committee and presentation to outside equity investors
Perform market analysis and research
Support internal due diligence review and prepare / present due diligence materials for lenders and investors
Support transaction execution

Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience as an analyst in investment banking or private equity
Mastery of Excel, PowerPoint and Word required. Professional experience and comfort with other industry software products (Yardi, Bloomberg, etc) a plus
Top-tier educational background and demonstrated educational achievement
Strong written and verbal communication skills to successfully manage internal and external relationships
Must be able to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks effectively, take on additional responsibility, and have strong attention to detail
Experience in single-asset investments and underwriting, particularly value-add or development business plans, is a strong plus
Familiarity with the New York City real estate market is a strong plus
