    This position is with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of Environmental Quality, Environmental Remediation Program, and will be located at 1730 E.

    Elm Street, Jefferson City, MO.

    You will be joining the Missouri Department of Natural Resources as a Program Coordinator for the Budget & Planning Section in the Environmental Remediation Program (ERP).

    You will be responsible for oversight of the management of the Underground Storage Tank (UST) database that is used to track all regulated activity related to underground storage tanks in Missouri.

    You will also oversee and coordinate billing of cost recovery, collection of revenues for the program, and other financial based projects as needed for the ERP.

    Finally, you will oversee the Records Center, Conference rooms, and building issues for the ERP.


    What you'll do:
    Serve as the Revenue & Data Operations Unit Chief, supervising six team members.
    Oversee the Records Center for the Environmental Remediation Program and the Waste Management Program.

    Oversee the accuracy of the reporting of the Underground Storage Tanks data that comprises of activities related to closure, site remediation, inspections, enforcement, and ownership of regulated tank sites and all related querying.

    Oversee the program's billings and the recovery of costs expended by the department and other financial based projects as needed.

    This includes properly assessing, allocating, tracking, preparing and verifying the accuracy of invoices.

    Serve as the Building Manager to address any building concerns by communicating issues with the building manager and the General Services Program.

    Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree and 4-7 years of relevant experience.
    Technically competent database manager and the ability to research issues within databases.
    Experienced in query writing and reporting using Microsoft Office Products.
    Experience overseeing accounts receivable records and invoice billings.
    Ability to mentor, train, and supervise six team members and coordinate duties within the Unit.
    Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of the laws and regulations on cost recovery to analyze and interpret program revenues.
    Ability to evaluate operations and formulate recommendations to the Administrative Manager and Program Director.
    Effective communication with management team members on issues as they arise within the Unit.
    Knowledge of the Missouri Sunshine Law.

    Training, certification, and/or education in continuous process improvement programs such as Lean Six Sigma as well as completion of Missouri Way, Leadership Academy, and similar programs is preferred.

    Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
