- Responsible for all aspects of acquisition to include development, testing, system integration, production, fielding, sustainment and product improvements with a multi-million dollar annual budget.
- Oversee POM planning, cost estimating, program planning, programming, budgeting, program integration, interoperability and oversight.
- Responsible for the analysis and evaluation of programs as they affect assigned equipment.

Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience is defined as: 1) Developing project management policies, planning, requirements and direction within an acquisition program; 2) Participating in analysis of the programs budget, cost and mission requirements; 3) Overseeing project responsibilities such as development, acquisition, testing, cyber security, life cycle support, resources management, contracting, scheduling, personnel and facilities; and 4) Overseeing and/or managing Risk Management Framework and Configuration Management activities to secure or maintain an Authorization-to-Operate
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03 or GS-13)
