You'll take ownership of complex land development projects, lead technical design efforts, mentor engineers, and play a visible role in client and agency coordination.

Complex site grading and drainage design
Utility system layout and coordination
Stormwater management reports and water quality design
Construction plan production and agency submittals
Residential subdivisions and commercial developments
Multidisciplinary coordination with survey, landscape, and architectural teams
You won't just support projects — you'll drive major technical components of them.
What You'll Do
Perform advanced engineering calculations with minimal oversight
Lead preparation and review of Civil 3D construction documents
Oversee grading models, surface design, and utility networks
Prepare and QA/QC drainage reports and stormwater plans
Coordinate directly with local agencies to secure approvals
Support construction administration, including review of pay applications and change orders
Review plans for compliance with jurisdictional and company standards
Mentor junior engineers and elevate overall technical quality
Contribute to schedule and budget performance
This role blends strong technical leadership with increasing project responsibility.

What Makes You Competitive
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
EI required; PE in progress or obtained strongly preferred
6–10 years of land development design experience
Strong proficiency in Civil 3D
Working knowledge of local agency submittal and approval processes
Experience coordinating across disciplines
Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead technical tasks
Strong ownership mindset and accountability
Colorado project experience is required.
Work Location & Flexibility
Full-time, salaried-exempt (40 hours/week)
Hybrid schedule available for Colorado-based employees
Remote work option available for qualified candidates residing within the United States
We are currently registered to employ team members in Colorado, California, Utah, Ohio, and Missouri. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Remote employees must be able to collaborate effectively across time zones to support project and team coordination.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range:
$87,875–$102,125
R&R Engineers Surveyors Inc. is committed to competitive, market-aligned compensation. Final salary will be based on experience, technical depth, licensure status, geographic location, and demonstrated leadership capability.
Compensation for remote employees will be aligned with market rates in the employee's primary work location.
