    Job Summary:

    Awesome opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager with an established industrial metals manufacturer who has a phenomenal reputation. Their products are top of the line so you will never get a complaint about the quality but you will have to sell on value rather than price.

    You will be responsible for new business development (60%) and account management (40%) to aerospace, medical, automotive, and other industrial businesses. You will sell on the West Coast, the Rocky Mountains, & parts of the Southwest so you will spend a lot of time on the road; planning is critical and you should live in CA, WA, OR, AZ, NV, or UT. Consideration will be given to others living in WY, ID, or MT but not outside of it.

    Scope of Responsibilities:

    Sales & Client Engagement

    • Finds new customers and increases spend of current customers in the assigned territory
    • Responsible for maintaining close relationship with new and existing customers
    • Achieves revenue targets and territory growth
    • Maintains and exceeds customer expectations through regular communication which includes emails, phone calls, and onsite visits
    • Develops product knowledge / category expertise to make quality recommendations that successfully solve unmet needs and increase customer productivity
    • Works closely with internal Customer Service Rep for your territory
    • Prepares proposals and presentations for customers
    • Attends exhibits, tradeshows, seminars, and networking opportunities as required

    Essential Skills & Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of sales experience and have to have a track record of success with new business development as well as account management
    • Must have experience selling for a manufacturer and ideally within the metals industry
    • Self-motivated, professional, energetic, goal-oriented individual
    • Proven ability to prioritize, manage tasks and follow-up consistently with decision makers
    • Must have the ability to build relationships and work effectively with all levels of an organization to drive prioritized strategy, influence key decision makers, and generate revenue through a variety of communications and contact methods
    • Experience with a CRM
    • Excellent driving record
    • Ability to travel every day in territory, full weeks as needed, & occasionally out of market to support those accounts
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
