- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures during the night shift.
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams by passing instruments and supplies, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating their needs.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards throughout surgical procedures.
- Collaborate closely with surgical team members to facilitate efficient and effective patient care.
- Assist in transporting patients to and from the operating room and provide support as needed.
- Completion of a Surgical Scrub Technician program or equivalent certification.
- Previous experience as a Scrub Tech preferred.
- Proficiency in sterilization techniques and surgical instrument handling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability for call/weekends as required.
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification desirable.
