    Description

    We are working on a Tax Director position for a prestigious real estate firm in Fort Worth, TX. This is a newly created position that will support the owner's new business ventures and special projects. The ideal candidate has a tax background in public accounting with experience managing multiple different clients. This person will manage a team of one and oversee third party administrators on daily accounting activities.     Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and analyze financial statements multiple business entities
    • Review monthly financial close process to ensure accuracy
    • Advise on tax implications and strategies for the family office's investments and financial decisions
    • Stay updated on tax regulations and laws to ensure compliance
    • Coordinate with external tax advisors and professionals as needed

    Requirements:

    • CPA certification
    • Previous experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
    • Strong understanding of financial statements and tax implications
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
