    Description


    As a Manufacturing Engineer you will have the opportunity to initiate and lead multi-disciplinary changes in manufacturing and industrialization projects at the business level.


    Your role:
    Developing and implementing new methods of working and manufacturing.
    Initiate and participate in design for

    manufacturability/assembly

    (DFMA) and design for test (DFT) activities
    Providing technical leadership to resolve manufacturing and quality problems, including line yield and nonconforming products.
    Driving corrective actions with appropriate and detailed follow up.
    Identifying, analyzing and implementing cost reduction projects, cycle time improvements and lean manufacturing techniques to improve product cost structure.

    Executing design and process validation activities, including statistical analysis, similarity and testing for manufacturing changes, as well as the introduction of new assembly/test equipment.

    Collaborating with other groups such as New Product Development Engineering, Product Industrialization Engineering, Quality, Project Management, Regulatory, Supplier Quality, Operations, and Purchasing, to develop new processes and transition new designs into manufacturing.

    Identifying, specifying and coordinating the installation of new manufacturing equipment and upgrades for process improvement.
    Lead or participate in insource / outsource plant industrialization projects.

    You're the right fit if:
    You've acquired 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering experience including process and equipment improvement
    Your skills include demonstrated ability to successfully lead projects and lead/work with others on cross functional teams; strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to provide technical leadership in ambiguous situations; demonstrated experience in

    validation/documentation

    and manufacturing; lean manufacturing experience in a regulated environment – strongly preferred
    You have 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience including process and equipment improvement
