    Required Skills & Experience


    Compliance Analytics:
    Monitor and assess compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.

    Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions to enhance security posture.


    Project Management Skills:
    Leverage your project management expertise to drive cybersecurity initiatives.

    Collaborate with stakeholders, including technical teams, to ensure successful project execution.


    Data Communication:
    Articulate complex technical concepts related to data security to non-technical audiences.

    Bridge the gap between cybersecurity and business stakeholders.


    Automate Processes:
    Utilize programming languages (such as Python) to automate security processes.

    Enhance efficiency and accuracy in threat detection and incident response.

    Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC):

    Understand GRC principles and practices.

    Apply GRC frameworks to assess risk, manage compliance, and improve security controls.

    SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley)

    Background:
    While SOX experience is beneficial, it's not a deal-breaker.

    Focus on understanding cyber compliance programs and controls.


    Cybersecurity Controls:
    Evaluate and implement security controls to mitigate risks.

    Stay informed about emerging threats and industry best practices.


    Continuous Learning and Growth:
    Be open to evolving responsibilities as the role matures.
