Job summary
This position travels between Chaska, Waconia, and other Western OB/GYN Clinics.The purpose of the job is to perform a variety of patient care related activities including: assisting the providers and performing a variety of diagnostic Lab procedures according to established policies and procedures.
The Medical Assistant/LPN will be responsible for escorting patients to examination room and obtaining vitals and documents in EMR,
administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinic policies and scope of certification/licensure,
preparing equipment and assists providers during examination, testing and treatment of patients,
performing room turn over in patient rooms between cases and at the end of day,
assisting in arranging referrals/prior authorizations as necessary,
assists with patient education,
