    Job Responsibilities

    Participates in planning, designing, implementing, conducting and coordinating training and career development programs for the South Carolina Environmental Training Center. Recruits and supervises instructors and provides program support. Collects, analyzes, and reports data in support of NSF-ATE grant. Works with other staff to find and implement efficiencies in instructional delivery. Facilitates access to subject matter experts (SMEs) and existing instructional materials. Works with partner program staff to develop water treatment training modules. Implements the integration of the modules into CCTC's water operator (WTRO) program curriculum as well as continuing education courses. Instructs in the operation and maintenance of treatment plant facilities to improve efficiency meet regulatory certification requirements. Trains in operation and maintenance of treatment plant machines & equipment and demonstrates operation of machines equipment. Instructs in other procedures such as selection of sampling sites, laboratory techniques, record keeping, safety measures and care of lift stations. Serve as liaisons for industry partners, with a strong emphasis on recruiting diverse and underrepresented individuals into the water industry as well as high school students. Documents 20 visits to water industries and 10 visits to schools each year. Completes administrative paperwork necessary for the planning, implementation, and recording of courses. Completes all financial transactions required for course delivery according to college directives. Promotes both credit and CE Environmental programs.
    Minimum and Additional Requirements

    A bachelor's degree and related instructional experience.
    Preferred Qualifications

    'A' level licenses in the water, and related instructional experience.
