    High School History Teacher Opportunity)
    We are accepting applications for a High School History Teacher to join the faculty for the school year. This position is located at our high school on 1001 Commonwealth Ave. in Brighton.

    The compensation for Match teaching positions ranges from $61,819-$98,899 and is based on a candidate's prior years of teaching experience.

    The High School History Teacher position includes a number of essential responsibilities, including (but not limited to):


    • Teach four High School History classes;
    • Develop daily lessons aligned with the History curriculum in collaboration with department colleagues and leadership team members;
    • Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students, and provide lots of support for getting students there;
    • Assist with school programming as needed during non-instructional time; Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community

    have at least two years of full-time experience as classroom or special education teacher, preferably in an urban education setting;
    * hold a valid and appropriate license issued by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, or obtain the licensure within a year of date of hire;
