    About The RoleCurrie & Brown is currently looking for a Sr. Cost Manager to support pharmaceutical projects in the San Francisco area.

    The successful candidate will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.


    Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:

    Developing and maintaining budgets and tracking project costs throughout the life of projectsUndertaking change management, estimating impacts of changes and contingency drawdownDealing with monthly cost reporting and budget reconciliationDeveloping risk register and tracking impactsHandling cashflow forecasting and monitoringUndertaking payment recommendations and reviewing contractor/consultant invoicesDeveloping WBS and cost breakdownsConducting cost estimating through various design stages using past experience, historical data and parametric ratiosSupporting client account managementCommunicating details effectively to internal and external stakeholders including presentationsEstablishing new and maintaining existing project controls toolsRequirements:Bachelor's or master's degree in a related technical field preferableA minimum of eight years' cost engineering, management and/or estimating experienceQuantity surveying background preferableExperience of working on large complex pharmaceutical projectsExtensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products (MS Word, Excel, Project)Ability to self-manage, requiring minimal supervisionGood time management, communication, and interpersonal skillsDesire to lead, mentor and develop a successful teamAbout YouAbout UsCurrie & Brown is a worldwide leading physical assets management consultancy with over 100 years in business and 60 offices around the globe.
