    Yoh has an exciting, entry-level opportunity for a QA/QC Lab Tech to join our client out of El Segundo, CA .

    This contract to hire opportunity is ideal for candidates who have a B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or related disciplines plus 0-2 years of experience. As part of their1st shift, you would be working Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm.

    You will be responsible for testing, inspection of products and processes at various points in the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to company quality & safety standards.

    While conducting Quality Audits to ensure any product being produced meets established quality standards, it is also expected that the QA/QC Technician takes responsibility for:

    Conducting analytical testing of products and raw materials used for or during manufacture to assure they meet company standards.

    Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality.
    Assesses the quality of incoming materials to make sure they meet specifications.

    Hold and manage non-conforming raw materials, packaging materials, WIP and finished products, to investigate and trouble shoot the non-conformity and provide the appropriate disposition for products not meeting company quality standards.

    Conducts product analysis with operations to evaluate current product quality and prevent large-scale issues.
    Conduct co-manufacturing product analysis on retained samples and maintain records of results.
    Utilize Good Laboratory Practice when conducting testing
    Evaluate test data and report deviations from existing standards.
    A Bachelors degree in a life science related field
    Ability to read and follow documents (Standard Operating Procedures and Test Methods)
    Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Windows and Office
