    PRIMARY FUNCTION: Front Office Supervisor

    DEPARTMENT: Front Office

    REPORTS TO: Front Office Manager

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
    • Manage Front Desk activity and act as Manager-on-Duty in absence of the Front Office Manager.
    • Scrub all guest arrivals and ensure team is proactively anticipating guests' needs.
    • Assume accountability for resolving guest issues and concerns beyond the initial encounter with the Front Desk Host.
    • Assist in overseeing complimentary rooms, out of order rooms, and blocking of the house.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with other departments, ensuring consistent and seamless communication.
    • Train, coach, and counsel the Front Office team on 5 star luxury service standards: Front Desk Hosts, Overnight team, Valets, and Bellmen.
    • Ensure all team members adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and hold them accountability.
    • Ensure log book is always updated, and Front Desk is following up on all requests for the day in a timely manner.
    • Communicate effectively with hotel management.
    • Perform daily Front Desk Host duties.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High school diploma/GED required.
    • Minimum of one year of hotel/hospitality experience.
    • Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to handle difficult internal and external customers with patience, tact, and diplomacy.
    • Excellent data entry skills.
    • Ability to work overtime, evenings, overnights, weekends, and/or holidays.
