    Job Title: Sales Executive

    Preferred CFO is an outsourced/fractional CFO firm providing premium finance, accounting and human resource assistance to growing and emerging companies.

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team and play a key role in expanding our client base. As a Sales Executive specializing in fractional CFO services, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business relationships with small businesses seeking expert financial guidance. Your primary goal will be to articulate the value of our fractional CFO services and secure new clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Work closely with the two partners and the business development manager.

    Work warm leads (pipeline) that originate from business events, seminars, and referral partners.

    Respond timely to requests for information and drive the leads to a close/conclusion.

    Screen leads from email campaigns and web leads and enter into the pipeline.

    Cold calls are not anticipated however they may become part of the marketing process.

    Conduct initial consultations to understand clients' financial needs, challenges, and goals.

    Present our fractional CFO services as tailored solutions to address clients' financial needs effectively.

    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.

    Develop and implement a sales strategy to meet and exceed sales targets.

    Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market changes to refine your sales approach.

    Create and utilize effective sales collateral, presentations, and proposals to showcase our services.

    Lead negotiations, overcome objections, and close deals with prospective clients.

    Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline using CRM tools.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
    • Minimum 2 years sales experience.
    • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must be able to articulate ideas clearly, listen actively, and adapt the communication style to different audiences.
    • Must be able to build and maintain relationships with prospective clients.
    • Must be personable, empathetic, and able to connect with others to establish trust and rapport.
    • Must have high ethical standards, including honesty and integrity. Undersell and overdeliver.
    • A knowledge of business financial documents (accounting) is helpful, but not required. (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
    • Must be self-motivated and self-managing. Must possess effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, focus on high-value activities, and meet deadlines.
    • Must be able to work in a remote (home) office.
    • Must be able to flush-out objections and manage/overcome them.
    • Must be Google office/tools proficient.
    • Must be organized - Hubspot (CRM) experience helpful.
    • Must be resilient and able to bounce back from setbacks, learn from failures, and maintain a positive attitude.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
    • Proven track record of success in B2B sales to small companies.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
    • Willingness to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
