    Business Development Manager - Ocular Specialty In Vivo Services

    Location:
    East Coast USA (Local Travel Required)

    We specialize in research, development, and manufacturing services across small molecules, biologics, and cell and gene therapy products.
    We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth in Ocular Specialty In Vivo Services.

    The role involves selling preclinical and bioanalytical services in ophthalmology to companies developing small molecules, ocular devices, biologics, and advanced therapies.


    Who we are looking for:
    Master's or higher degree in a relevant field (Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Ophthalmology).
    Post qualification experience within a Life science industry or similar prior to moving into a business development role
    2+ years of business development/sales experience in ocular preclinical services.
    Results-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ambitious individual passionate about the biotechnology industry.
    Familiarity with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
    Strong understanding of the biotechnology industry and preclinical research.
    Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
    Motivated to adapt to evolving industry trends.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the ocular preclinical space.
    Generate sales to achieve individual and team targets.
    Increase market penetration through new contact meetings, RFP activity, and proactive proposals.
    Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
    Provide direction for marketing activities to generate leads and build brand awareness.
    Collaborate with the scientific team for effective client communication.
    Utilize CRM software for managing client interactions and tracking sales opportunities.
