- Cleaning patient rooms while patient/visitors are present.
- Interacting with patients while cleaning rooms.
- Completing a thorough room cleaning once a patient has been discharged.
- Position does include working with chemicals as well as cleaning up bodily fluids.
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work in a team environment and/or work independently as needed.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Strong interpersonal human relations skills.
- 48 hours per 2 -week pay period, 1pm-9:30pm variable days, every other weekend, and rotating holidays.
- However, we may consider a modified schedule as follows:
- For non-weekend shifts, you may opt for a later start time. Options include starting at 2pm, 2:30pm, 3pm, 3:30pm or 4pm and working until 9pm.
- Weekend shifts require working 1pm-9:30pm.
- If opting for the modified schedule, 48 hours must be worked every 2-week pay period.
- If opting for the modified schedule, the non-weekend start time must remain the same.

- Starting pay is $16.34 per hour, however we pay more for experience.

Environmental Services is responsible for cleaning patient rooms and common areas in the hospital. They serve a vital role in making a difference at CentraCare because they ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This is a fast-paced position.
