We're hiring Junior Machinists for 1st shift (7am- 3:30pm, Mon-Fri) at a manufacturing company in Cleveland.

Pay starts at $21 / hour with additional pay depending on experience.


Responsibilities of the Junior Machinist:
Machine simple parts from raw material to finished product.
Plan and implement order of operation to manufacture parts with assistance.
Calculate speeds and feeds.
Inspect parts.
Work to blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions.
Set up and operate machines (saw, drill press, lathe, milling machine )
Handle confidential information on a regular basis.
Take on and complete any work with guidance that is assigned by the tool room Area/Shift leaders.


Qualifications of the Junior Machinist:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year experience in a machine shop environment.
Must have basic tools such as calipers, edge finder, indicators.
Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
Good basic math and algebra skills.
Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
Ability to work to blueprints and sketches.
