    POSITION SUMMARY

    This position will be responsible for efficiently processing payroll, addressing employee payroll issues, resolving discrepancies, and managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll procedures, attention to detail, organizational and communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    • Process bi-weekly payroll on time, ensuring timecards/timesheets, and updates are accurate in the HRIS. Calculating retro pay and adjustments as needed.
    • Analyze and collect information to resolve discrepancies in payroll.
    • Collaborate with department leaders to ensure accuracy in payroll data.
    • Update payroll system with organizational or employee changes.
    • Maintain accurate records of employee information.
    • Generate ad-hoc reports as needed by management or other departments.
    • Provide insights and analysis related to payroll data.
    • Ensure measures are in place for appropriate levels of security and eliminate the possibility of waste/fraud.
    • Provide prompt employee support for all payroll inquiries and issues.
    • Manage administrative tasks, including the management of company vehicles and apartment units.
    • Assist with coordination of meetings, events, and other company activities.
    • Work with Human Resources to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee information.
    • Assist with the preparation of monthly invoices.
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of billing information.
    • Perform various clerical duties to support day-to-day operations.
    • Maintain organized and efficient filing systems.
    OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Prepare and submit government required reports on a timely basis.
    • Able to travel to other locations when necessary.
    • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in payroll administration is a plus.
    • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in payroll, including program administration, communication and compliance activity preferred.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
    • Must have the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
    • Must be detail oriented with a good work ethic and be able to maintain confidentiality in daily operation. Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Must be able to use and acquire knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentations.
    • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS.
    • Team player, dedicated to overall company performance and the ability to get along with others
    • Self-motivated with enthusiasm and drive; able to work independently as needed
    • Reliable attendance on-site required
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Prolonged period of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Occasionally must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
    • Ability to communicate and listen.
    • Ability/willingness to work within a manufacturing environment.
    • Occasionally exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment.
