    Job Title: Principal Architect


    Job Description:
    • Responsible for integrating, harmonizing, and modernizing IBM mainframe applications and cloud-native applications into a unified platform.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive the technical vision and implement the architecture.
    • Design high-level architecture accommodating both iSeries and cloud-native applications.
    • Create an integration strategy, identify key components, and define data flows.
    • Deliver Cloud Native Architecture for large Railroad using Microservices.
    • Evaluate technologies for integration, scalability, security, and performance.
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to development teams.
    • Anticipate and mitigate risks associated with integration and harmonization.
    • Ensure seamless integration with Cyber Security and Compliance teams.
    • Drive delivery of configurable product architecture and framework components.
    • Demonstrate expert problem-solving skills and business acumen.

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM fields.
    • 12+ years of experience in architecture and cloud technologies.
    • In-depth knowledge of software design patterns using Java.
    • Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies and distributed systems.
    • Experience with Kubernetes, HA design patterns, and microservices.
    • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
    • Ability to remove project obstacles and navigate difficult situations.
    • Relocation assistance available for eligible candidates.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
