    Overview

    The manual lathe machinist is responsible for setting up and operating a manual lathe with digital readout to produce quality parts for our customers.

    What you'll do

    • Set up and operate a manual lathe with digital readout.
    • Regularly inspect tools and equipment to produce precision parts.
    • Communicate any delays, issues, or concerns to shop foreman.
    • Responsible for ensuring your measuring equipment is accurate by using the standard in the inspection room.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    What you'll bring

    • Proficient operating manual lathes (preferably with digital readout).
    • 3 years' experience as a machinist on a lathe (preferred).
    • Skillful at producing quality parts with tight tolerances.
    • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
    • Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
