Job Responsibilities

Midlands Technical College is a public, multi-campus, two-year public college serving the primary region of Richland, Lexington and Fairfield counties of South Carolina that offers a variety of associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. • The position will support Shipping and Receiving (S&R) Operation as directed by the shipping and receiving supervisor. Perform general maintenance of the materials support facility and other duties assigned in support of Midlands Technical College, Support Services and directives for the MIL manager.
  
• Must maintain a valid South Carolina Driver's License to operate Midlands Technical College Vehicles and a valid certification to operate materials handling equipment.
• The position will require extensive lifting of equipment and packages.
• Must have the ability to lift 70 pounds.
• Must demonstrate the ability to operate Microsoft Suite software.
• Position will require extensive walking and outside work during periods of inclement weather.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
