Job Description:

At Bosch, we are looking for an experienced professional to oversee the company's governmental affairs strategy within the United States. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with various Bosch teams to identify and promote company priorities on state and local levels, emphasizing the nurturing of relationships within these spheres.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Government Affairs director and team to drive public policy matters for Bosch across key states and communities in the U.S.
Establish and cultivate relationships with essential state and local stakeholders to enhance Bosch's investments and operations in the U.S.
Independently recognize, track, and assess critical issues and laws at the state level, formulating state policy strategies accordingly.
Keep business units informed about relevant state actions and provide guidance on policy and regulations that may affect product development and deployment.
Engage proactively with Bosch's trade association government affairs committees, contributing insights to shape the company's overall stance and suggest appropriate action.
Work closely with Bosch site leaders to develop and implement local engagement strategies, ensuring active involvement in the community.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree
7+ years of experience in state and local government relations
Established relationships with state government offices
Direct involvement in lobbying or advocacy activities
Strong organizational and project management skills
Approximately 20-25% domestic travel required
