    Unite Health Share Ministries (UHSM) is a nonprofit, faith-based health sharing ministry that facilitates member-to-member health sharing among fellow Christians, serving as a connector to administer medical cost sharing. The UHSM mission is to help Christian families fulfill their God-given purpose to care for one another and to positively impact our communities. Headquartered in Norfolk, VA, UHSM takes a modern approach to health sharing that prioritizes holistic health and wellbeing. UHSM offers simple, fair, and friendly health share programs to its members.

    About this role

    UHSM is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate ideas visually. As a Graphic Designer, you will work closely with the marketing and technology teams to develop visually compelling and engaging materials that effectively convey the UHSM brand and mission.

    Onsite: This is a full-time, in-office position at our Santa Ana, CA location.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and produce various marketing materials such as brochures, banners, social media graphics, email templates, presentations, and website graphics, while adhering to UHSM's brand guidelines.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and technology teams to develop creative concepts and execute design strategies for promotional campaigns and events.
    • Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to refine and finalize designs.
    • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure designs remain fresh and competitive.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality.
    • Coordinate with external vendors and printers to ensure the accurate production of materials.

    Required Qualifications

    • 2+ years of professional digital & print graphic design experience.
    • 2+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
    • 1+ years of experience with a design and visual communication platform (e.g., Canva).
    • Able to work in our Santa Ana, CA office location.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects and styles.
    • Excellent visual design skills, including layout, typography, color theory, illustration, and photo retouching.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present and explain design ideas to non-designers.
    • Knowledge of web design, HTML, CSS, and WordPress is a plus.
