Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

Work 4x10 hour shifts plus call requirements
On-call required with 30 minute response time

Weekend schedule:
Work 3x12 hour shifts either Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday

Primary call on one weekend night then flip to secondary the next night (or vice versa)
Minimum 2 years experience required (1 year acceptable with neuro and scrub experience)
Scrub experience required
Travel experience required
Neuro IR experience preferred but not required
Must be over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)
Epic charting system experience required
Work with patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
Daily census of 30 patients across 5 rooms

Required certifications:
ACLS, ARRT VI, ARRT R, BLS

Must maintain strict no call-in policy
Emergency team assignment possible during emergency events with expectation to remain at facility
Work with specialized equipment including fluoro equipment, ultrasound, CT scanner, and various ablation machines
Perform various interventional procedures including angiography, embolization, stent placement, and catheter exchanges

This major medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility with 700 beds providing advanced interventional radiology and cardiology services. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment including Siemens and GE imaging systems, specialized procedural CT scanners, and advanced ablation technology.

The medical center offers full interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and interpretation services, ensuring comprehensive patient care across all age groups and complex medical conditions.
