- Coordinates the daily operations of the Sleep Disorder Center. (40%)
- Assures that all sleep studies are scored and made prepared for physician interpretation. (25%)
- Ensures compliance, and prepares the department for regulatory agency inspections. (20%)
- Manages inventory for lab. (10%)
- Completes staff performance appraisals and annual competencies. (5%)
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) or Sleep Disorders Specialty (SDS) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Four years sleep experience required.
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred. Graduate of a polysomnography course or completion of an approved sleep lab training program preferred. Basic ECG course preferred.
- Two years supervisory experience preferred.
