    Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is currently hiring a Guidance Navigation & Controls (GNC) Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

    The Guidance Navigation & Controls Manager 2 will manage the functional engineering activities of approximately ten GNC Engineers within a program.

    This position reports to the Flight Sciences Department Manager within the Vehicle Engineering functional homeroom team.
    Product integrity, process adherence, staffing, training, and tools.

    Process oversight, participation in the performance review process, management of personnel records and participation in corrective or disciplinary actions.

    The ability to manage training opportunities and budget allocations, as well as participation in tool, process, and metric initiatives is required.

    This position may require travel.
    Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 9 years of professional/military experience related to aerospace engineering; Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher that is in-scope with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation
    Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
    Experience using Matlab/Simulink to model dynamic systems for simulation of vehicle performance and stability & control analysis
