    Description

    The Client Operations Manager is responsible for working with our clients to determine their needs, providing a project staffing schedule, cost estimating and placing the right individuals with the required credentials and certifications for clients job(s). Field Services Managers are expected to help manage the profitability of their assigned client accounts. The ideal candidate is a cross-functional business operations with solid financial knowledge that can work directly with clients and operations staff to tailor targeted service models to assist in gaining new business and grow revenue for existing accounts. The following represents the majority of duties performed by the position but is not meant to be all inclusive nor prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

    • Engaged in the profitability of their assigned client accounts.
    • Works directly with clients on their needs, staffing, cost estimating and placement of inspection staff.
    • Develops detailed project and staffing plans, related cost and budget estimates, and delivering to clients in a timely manner.
    • Present proposals to client representatives, as necessary.
    • Contribute to the overall bid and proposal process, including strategy development, rate analysis, competitor knowledge and analysis, which may include technical and commercial proposal writing.
    • Implement and oversee relationship management and project life cycle planning for service contracts.
    • Manage and implement initiatives to drive revenue growth and ensure service delivery to billable staff.
    • Coordinate with client management to prepare budgetary estimates as requested by clients.
    • Via field visits and phone calls, regularly meet with and/or contact inspection staff to ensure they are meeting client needs as well as adhering to company and client policies.
    • Via regular phone, office and field visits, meet with clients to ensure inspection staff are meeting that client's needs and expectations while inquiring about additional work and services that can be provided.
    • Conduct research to identify potential business development targets and work with business development to prepare a recommended capture plan. Develop customer offer/pricing strategies with Operations Managers, and subsequent contracts.
    • Assist with market research and with the review of general economics and financial conditions and understand their impact on the company's finances.
    • Review time/expense for accuracy and timely approval to ensure proper payroll processing and client billing.
    • Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics."

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Associate or bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is required.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years' work experience in account management, engineering, finance, contracts/procurement, or business operations required.
    • Ability to confer with an inspector and determine if their verbal experience aligns with their resume.
    • An understanding and experience with pay and invoicing as it relates to profitability.
    • Experience as an account manager with revenues over $10M or experience in the Oil and Gas industry preferred.
    • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Experience in recruiting, project management, negotiations, communication, and leadership preferred.
    • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely.
    • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
    • Detail oriented, with attentive listening skills to adequately respond to customers' requests and meet and or/exceed client needs.
