    On-site Monday through Friday (Flex 9:00am to 6:00pm)
    **MUST BE LOCAL to Fort Worth TX No relocation)
    **(MUST be a Packaging Engineer for the Medical

    Device/Pharmaceutical

    Industry or Ocular Health Products
    **NEEDED:

    Packaging Engineering (boxes, cartons, bottles, labels, tamper bands); R&D Laboratory; Ocular

    Health/Pharmaceutical

    Packaging;

    Design/Test/Assembly ; Packaging Test Equipment Validation; IQ/OQ/PQ; SOPs; Report Writing; cGMP; 21 CFR Part 210/211

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Serving as Ocular Health (OH) packaging equipment and Lab Owner:

    • Leading and performing packaging equipment validation (IQ/OQ/PQ and test method validation) while establishing and update operating procedures, such as SOP and maintenance procedures.
    • Equipment validation experience is required or highly desired.
    • Working with crossfunctional teams to support the new product development and existing product life cycle management in the field related to ocular health and pharmaceutical packaging.
    • Working with internal and external testing labs to perform needed tests and writing testing reports.
    • Strong handson experience and mechanical engineering background desired.
    • Good communication and strong technical writing skills to develop protocols, reports, memos and engineering studies.
    Performing Packaging Design Engineering focuses on designing and developing product packaging (e.g.

    , boxes, cartons, bottles, labels, tamper bands and other containers) including:

    (a) Designing and constructing new packaging or improvements to existing packaging; testing, analyzing, and selecting materials for packaging based on durability and cost effectiveness.
    (b) Supporting and participating in the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes.
    (c) Designing process(s) to R&D pilot lab packaging; executing the installation, operation, and maintenance of packaging machinery, and systems, to ensure optimal performance.
    (d) Designing quality assurance/control processes and procedures into packaging design which may include compliance with specific technical and regulatory standards related to product packaging.
