    We are currently seeking a dynamic and initiative-taking Estate Planning Paralegal to join our team. In this crucial role, you will work closely with attorneys and clients in the preparation of estate planning documents and management of estate and trust administration matters. Your expertise and professionalism will help ensure our clients receive exceptional legal services during crucial and sensitive times.

    We are searching for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Estate Planning and Administration, possessing immediate transferrable skills and a dedication to excellence.

    Responsibilities:

    Document Preparation: Assist attorneys in drafting and reviewing various estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, and beneficiary designations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.

    Client Communication: Communicate with clients to gather essential information for estate planning purposes and provide regular updates on estate and trust administration matters, offering compassionate and professional assistance during emotionally challenging times.

    Probate and Trust Administration: Assist in probate and trust administration processes by preparing and filing court documents, maintaining case calendars, compiling data, and preparing accountings, assisting with tax documents and deadlines, and facilitating asset transfers to beneficiaries. While not mandatory, estate and gift tax preparation experience a plus.

    Legal Research: Conduct legal research to support estate planning and probate matters, staying up to date with relevant laws and regulations.

    Client Record Management: Maintain organized and confidential physical and digital client files, ensuring all documents and communications are accurately recorded and maintained.

    Meeting Support: Prepare materials for and attend client meetings.

    Collaboration with Attorneys and Team: Foster teamwork by collaborating with attorneys, fellow paralegals, and administrative staff to ensure seamless operations and exceptional client service.

    Compliance and Deadlines: Monitor and track deadlines for estate planning documents, probate filings, and trust administration tasks to ensure timely completion.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
    • Previous experience as an Estate Planning and Probate Paralegal.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with acute diligence.
    • Demonstrated sensitivity and empathy working with clients during delicate estate planning and probate matters.
    • Familiarity with relevant estate planning and probate laws and regulations.
    • Proficiency in legal research techniques and resources.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
