    Description

    Commercial Construction Estimator: We are looking for an Estimator with experience in putting together bids/pricing for General Contracting projects and General Trades projects. An experienced Estimator that can put together a complete competitive bid or negotiate a bid with a customer. Specializing in bid section 6.

    Required Knowledge:

    • Analyzing Information, Developing Budgets, Vendor Relationships, Reporting Skills, Commercial Estimating, Decision Making, Teamwork, Documentation Skills, Quality Focus, Technology,
    • 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience in general trades (spec section 6) and general contracting projects.
    • Working knowledge of Commercial construction documentation and pricing, able to read plans and specifications and translating them into estimates.
    • Blue Beam software knowledge and experience
    • Working knowledge of MS Office (excel)
    • Knowledgeable of Commercial Construction principles and processes.
    • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
    • Knowledgeable of negotiated bids, hard bids.
    • Maintains a 'value added' approach to estimating.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree (or work equivalent) for Construction Science or related field
    • *Proficiency with reading Commercial construction plans, specifications and vendor product data information
    • *Familiarity with Commercial construction project delivery methods and practices.

    Pay will be based on experience and includes benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, Vacation time and Holidays). Vehicle allowance also included.
