    Exciting Opportunity at By Light for a DevOps Engineer

    By Light is currently seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer at By Light, you will play a crucial role in integrating, testing, and deploying software packages for cutting-edge cybersecurity training environments, all while working remotely.

    Responsibilities

    • Create and maintain online distribution repositories
    • Develop Linux-based packages, patches, and end-user installation strategies
    • Automate build and deployment processes
    • Contribute to the development, operation, and maintenance of DevSecOps processes
    • Design, implement, and execute automated tests for software applications
    • Explore new technologies to enhance productivity and quality
    • Train team members on DevSecOps and automation tasks
    • Maintain a corporate knowledge library

    Required Experience/Qualifications

    • Minimum of three years of DevOps experience
    • Proficiency in Continuous Integration/Delivery and DevOps Pipelines
    • Knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and security practices
    • Experience with GitLab/Bitbucket, Jenkins, and automation testing platforms
    • Ability to implement DevSecOps using private and commercial cloud best practices

    Preferred Experience/Qualifications

    • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker
    • Familiarity with environment orchestration tools such as AWX and Terraform
    • Expertise in Linux, repositories, and virtualization
    • Experience with programming languages like Python, Bash, and Ansible
    • Knowledge of virtualized network environments like VMware vCenter and NSX

    Special Requirements/Security Clearance

    • Potential for up to 10% travel
    • Must hold or be eligible for a DoD Top Secret security clearance
    • 8570 IAT Level II certification or ability to obtain certification within 6 months
