Job Summary:
Berglund Ford Mazda in Salem, Virginia is seeking a part-time Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team.

The Warehouse Worker will primarily be responsible for assisting with inventory management, organizing and maintaining warehouse space, and conducting general labor tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and a basic knowledge of the automotive industry.


Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers competitive hourly pay of $14 per hour paid biweekly. As a part-time employee, this role does not include benefits.


Responsibilities:

• Receive and check incoming inventory against purchase orders
• Accurately record and label inventory items
• Organize and maintain warehouse space to ensure efficient use of storage areas
• Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks
• Conduct general labor tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Communicate any inventory discrepancies or damages to the Warehouse Manager
• Assist with occasional inventory counts and audits
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill inventory and supply requests
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
• Basic knowledge of inventory management
• Ability to operate a forklift is preferred
• Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory software is a plus
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
