    This role is responsible to oversee business operations to assist with regulatory compliance, external assessments and audits, incident management, policy and procedures, and to provide Healthcare training material to employees.

    To be successful in this role, you should possess extensive experience in advising organizations on industry requirements and standards. Accomplished Compliance Analysts are regulatory experts who lead their organizations toward excellence in compliance.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Utilize In-depth knowledge of Healthcare industry compliance requirements and standards
    • Assist with customer security assessments, audits and inquiries
    • Collaborate with external 3 party auditors for annual SOC1 Type1 audit
    • Work with supervisors and staff to mitigate incidents within our Incident Reporting program
    • Provide Medicaid, Medicare and other required training material to employees
    • Track, monitor and report on execution of remediation and CAP projects
    • Review, research, edit and update our policies and customer contracts
    • Analyze current business processes for possible security/privacy risks
    • Make suggestions for process improvement
    • Stay up to date on regulatory changes

    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Knowledgeable in Healthcare regulatory laws and frameworks: CMS (Medicare, Medicaid), HIPAA, NIST and HITRUST
    • Exceptional ability to formulate compliance policies, procedures, and related documentation
    • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
    • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude a plus

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and equivalent experience
    • 2+ years of experience in Federal/State Regulatory Compliance, Audit and Reporting or similar functions, preferably within the Information Security or Technology fields

    PAY RANGE:

    CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

    For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

    Pay Range: $58,282 – $93,870
