TalentBurst, Inc is looking for a Medical Lab Technician for a job opportunity in Gainesville, Georgia.
Job Description & RequirementsTitle: Lab Technician - Tissue Culture
Location: Gainesville, GA (Onsite)
Duration: 06 Months
Note: Temporary to permanent based on needs and performance.
Shift:
The work schedule includes:
Mon – 7am – 5pm
Tues – 7am – 4pm
Wed – 7am – 2:30pm
Thur – 7am – 5pm
Fri – 7am - 12:30pm
**Technicians start at 6am with expected overtime. Rotated weekend shifts from 6am to 10am on Saturdays and 6am to 11am on Sundays, with the prior Wednesday off for weekend workers.
**Candidates must not own pet birds or chickens to be eligible for this role.
Assists in vaccine production, following SOPs and maintaining a sterile environment.
Maintains cleanliness in the lab area and completes assigned monthly tasks accurately and promptly.
Receives and handles lab materials, including egg handling and record-keeping.
Promotes safety practices in the lab.
Skills:
Immediate training provided in sterile techniques and lab procedures.
Team player, capable of lifting 50 lbs and standing for extended periods in a sterile setting.
Flexible availability for weekend shifts and punctuality is crucial.
Self-motivated, forward-thinking with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
