    **The Opportunity:**

    We are seeking a dedicated Medical Transportation Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth DeLand. In this role, you will play a vital part in facilitating the safe and efficient movement of patients within our facility.

    **Key Responsibilities:**

    • Transfer patients to appropriate transport vehicles and ensure their safety during transport.
    • Coordinate with nursing staff to schedule transport as needed.
    • Monitor and maintain oxygen tanks and other equipment to ensure proper functioning.
    • Assist patients with transfers from bed to wheelchair or stretcher as required.

    **Requirements:**

    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • 6 months of customer service experience or equivalent.
    • Patient care and communication skills to work effectively with patients of all ages.
    • Ability to use computer systems for patient information and basic clerical functions.

    **What We Offer:

    Competitive salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
