- Create data analyses, data conversions, models and map products to support renewable energy project development.
- Overall market analysis.
- Site suitability analysis.
- Developing and exercising data specific quality control procedures.
- Optimizing spatial analyses and project work flows.
- Create and administer geo-databases within the company GIS.
- Coordinate GIS activities with applications development, programmers and IT system specialists.
- Establish and monitor cartographic design standards for high quality map production.

The GIS Specialist will have:
- Relevant degree or certification in GIS or closely-related discipline
- Minimum of 1 years experience in a GIS focused role at an IPP or Development firm.
- Passionate about building professional maps through the use of sophisticated GIS software and techniques to support the development of renewable energy projects
- Demonstrable competency in basic programming related to typical GIS functions
- Certification or demonstrated ability to design and administer geo-databases and relational databases
- Ability to work proactively and will full autonomy What's on Offer

- $100,000 - $140,000 base salary based on experience
