    Job Title: Lobby Lounge Server

    We are seeking a charismatic and attentive Lobby Lounge Server to join our team at Fairmont Grand Del Mar. As an ambassador of exceptional service, you will provide warm and personalized attention to guests, ensuring they feel unique and valued.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Display a professional appearance and be well-groomed at all times.
    • Take orders, answer questions, and make recommendations for menu items.
    • Clear, clean, reset, and maintain tables during shifts.
    • Assist other Servers to provide exceptional service as outlined in the Lounge Standards of Service Manual.
    • Understand delivery and removal processes for products and equipment.
    • Handle guest checks according to Hotel policy.
    • Maintain par levels and equipment to successfully accomplish restaurant service tasks.
    • Complete side work assigned by Manager.
    • Provide friendly, professional, and polite assistance to guests.
    • Follow directions from Manager at all times.
    • Maintain proper uniform, ID badge, and nametag at all times.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 2 years of serving experience in a similar restaurant/lounge environment.
    • Food Handlers Card required.
    • High School graduate.
    • Proficient in primary language(s) used in the workplace.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Knowledge of Lounge operations, services, and facilities.
    • Superior guest service skills and understanding of California serving guidelines.
