    The Financial Reporting Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of an organization's financial statements and reports.

    They ensure that financial statements comply with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

    This role will also indirectly support a group of accounting professionals through the reporting process and assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.

    Job ResponsibilitiesPrepare the reporting and filing of regulatory-required financial reports in compliance with IFRS and UK requirements at a consolidated level.

    Manage the IFRS16 Lease Accounting, including the related footnote disclosures.
    Manage the preparation of statutory financial reporting across local jurisdictions worldwide.

    Manage monthly financial statements, including all Signature businesss statutory financial reporting packages, BPC journals, and BPC supplemental inputs that impact reporting (cash flows and footnotes).Oversee and lead ongoing projects and improvements within the department.

    Research accounting technical guidance and prepare the technical paper(s).Write, implement, and ensure effective and practical implementation of the companys accounting policies.

    Manage and assist in the preparation of materials for senior executives and the board.
    Review accounting procedures to ensure compliance with applicable state/federal laws and regulations.
    Manages all aspects of the group and statutory audit(s) to ensure timely and clean audit sign-off.

    Work with appropriate administrators in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of accounting systems and administrative procedures to ensure proper internal controls and operating efficiencies.

    Apply knowledge of current accounting pronouncements to record and document differences between Management, US Statutory, and IFRS reporting to enable the preparation of financial statements.

    Manage on-time regulatory required reporting compliance with local authorities and jurisdictions.

    Accurate reporting of M&A activity, including valuation papers and PPA adjustmentsContinue process improvements to streamline monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.

    Manage updates to group finance/accounting manual and provide global close calendar publication.
    Manage annual external audits with continuous improvements/efficiencies.


    Supervisor Responsibilities:
    Indirectly lead, coach, and mentor a team of financial reporting team members, including analysts and supervisors

    Job QualificationsMinimum Education and/or Experience:
    A bachelors degree in accounting, business, management, or finance is required. MBA or an advanced degree in business, management, or finance preferred.

    CPA preferredAt least two years managing a financial reporting team for a large multinational companyAdditional knowledge and skills:

    Must have expert-level knowledge of IFRS (or US GAAP) with experience in preparing annual consolidated financials, including the required MD&A and footnote disclosures.
