    Main Purpose of Job

    The main purpose of this position is to promote hospital wide competence, customer service, compliance, and quality patient care by aiding in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of training programs aligned with the needs of the facility and required by the Maryland Department of Health (MDH). This position will also conduct various mandatory training programs for all hospital employees. This is not a remote or telework position. This is not a sedentary position.\r

    Per the Amended Directive and Order Regarding Vaccination (MDH # �issued by the Secretary of the Maryland Department of Health,�effective April 18, 2023, staff in all�hospitals and residential facilities operated by the Maryland�Department�of Health or any local health department are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Staff includes, but is not limited to, regular and contractual employees, contractual staff, volunteers, and other state employees performing any duties at the facility. An individual may request an accommodation by providing�appropriate and sufficient documentation for bona fide medical or�religious reasons.\r

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Experience: Six years of experience planning and conducting employee development and training.\r
    Notes:\r
    1. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience planning, conducting or coordinating training or staff development activities for the required experience.\r
    2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in education and training classification or education and training specialty codes in the education and training field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.\r

    SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS

    The selected candidate MUST possess 1 year of experience conducting employee development and training in a clinical setting.\r

    DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    The desired candidate should possess:\r

    Experience with Microsoft Office, Smart sheets, and Google Suite.��\r
    Experience creating and developing interactive lessons and course curriculums.\r
    Experience conducting employee development and training in a clinical setting.\r
