A DAY IN THE LIFE

Secure a leadership position on a world-class team Working at one of our customer facilities, you will supervise your team by providing oversight, guidance, and workflow creation. As a working supervisor, you will spend a significant portion of your time working hands-on with your team to ensure that trailers are loaded, secured, and safe for our drivers to deliver.

You are looking to lead a team of skilled load securement specialists to ensure they have the support necessary to safely secure and keep equipment moving efficiently.

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide guidance and support to your team, mentoring staff, and supporting professional development.
• Collaborate closely with your team, drivers, and management to ensure that all work is completed on time while maintaining safety as the number one priority.
• Manage the efficient movement of trailers from location to location.
• Facilitate the loading and securing of glass preloads in addition to general freight for our drivers.
• Ensure all accidents or workplace incidents are properly and efficiently communicated to the safety department.
• Provide strategic direction for your team to ensure the efficient use of time and resources to achieve profitability and productivity goals.

YOUR SKILLSET

• Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and coach your team and maintain strong customer relationships.
• The ability to effectively manage yourself and your team's time in a safety-sensitive environment with frequently changing deadlines.
• Experience managing and maintaining a safe environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience securing freight is preferred; experience securing glass is highly preferred.
• Active Class A CDL license.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE

• Salary: $50,000 - $70,000, decided based on experience.
• Schedule: Full-time on-site; Monday - Friday; 7:00 am 5:00 pm (flexibility with schedule required).
