    Job Description

    EBAD seeks a skilled candidate for the position CNC Swiss Machinist, reporting to the Machine Shop Manager. The role is for 2nd shift and is based in Moorpark, CA.

    The CNC Swiss Machinist is accountable for producing precision-machined components by setting up and running a Swiss style CNC machining center according to work orders, routers, & blueprints. Components are generally small in size, up to 12" maximum. Most runs are brief, ranging from 10 to 500 pieces.

    Responsibilities:

    • Complete set up of tools, fixtures, and materials on CNC Swiss style machine.
    • Performing initial piece inspection ready for review.
    • Inspecting parts using precise measuring equipment.
    • Adjusting tools and offsets based on cutting conditions.
    • Utilizing appropriate techniques and tools to deliver high-quality parts that meet production and quality criteria.
    • Applying correct feed, speed, and other cutting parameters based on material types such as aluminum, steel, stainless steel, titanium, etc.
    • Adapting programs as necessary following engineering or production-mandated alterations.
    • Contributing to resolving CNC programming and production-related problems on the shop floor.
    • Performing other similar or associated duties as needed.

    Requirements :

    • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
    • Minimum 3 years of CNC operation experience with setup skills.
    • At least 1 year of experience working with a Swiss style machining center.
    • Experience with Citizen A20, L20 or M32 machines is advantageous.
    • Additional experience with dual spindle lathe and 5-axis milling is a bonus.
    • Familiarity with ESPRIT programming software is an added advantage.
    • Basic knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection tools.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
    • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, prior leadership experience is beneficial.
    • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
    • Ability to comprehend safety rules, operational and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Effective communication skills both in writing and verbally.
    • Must meet all ITAR and BATFE background requirements.

    Compensation:

    Salary Range: $40,000 - $90,000 per year. Salary is determined based on the applicant's education, expertise, knowledge, skills, capabilities, internal fairness, and alignment with market data.
