    SJS Executives, LLC (SJS), also doing business as SJS Industrial, is currently seeking a Project Manager/Project Engineer to support construction operations at a VA Medical Center in Phoenix.

    SJS is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with 250 employees coast to coast and a headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia; it specializes in professional services to support federal and military organizations.

    The Pay range for this position will be $90,000-$100,000. SJS Executives also offers medical, dental, vision insurance, 80/hrs of PTO accumulation, and 11 paid federal holidays.
    Assigned projects are nonrecurring maintenance (NRM) projects making improvements to medical facilities and surrounding property.

    This includes hospital healthcare renovations, building mechanical HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other supporting infrastructure, and surrounding facility and utility systems such as parking lots, electrical distribution, water, sewer, and other similar systems.


    Responsibilities:
    Review plans, designs, drawings, and specifications prepared by licensed professional engineers.
    Develop and review Charrette; Functional Analysis Concept Development (FACD). Request for Proposal (RFP) development; Review all design phases for final signature. Coordinate Construction with affected parties and stakeholders.
    Coordinate, validate, and distribute all design plans and specs and project turnover documents to PVAHCS stakeholders.
    Review and recommend Collateral Equipment Requirements.
    Manage critical initiatives, objectives, and all aspects of operations management associated with project requirements.
    Identify new or changed planning standards, U.S.

    laws, Executive Orders, and Veterans Affairs regulations:
    propose changes to current Program and Initiative planning to incorporate these revisions. Review proposed changes and provide alternatives for compatibility with existing schedules, planning studies and zoning criteria.

    Assist and support PVAHCS with researching and applying technical criteria and other requirements for the development of projects and planning documents.

    Identify discrepancies and/or inadequacies relative to U.S.

    standards and requirements and inform PVAHCS for resolution(s).Provide Conference and Meeting Reports (electronic) in sufficient detail to identify dates, locations, points of contact, attendees, directions received, and areas of concern and salient items of interest identified at the meeting.

    Maintain communication with the project sponsors on all aspects of assigned projects to ensure stakeholders are informed of project status against planned project baseline.

    Assist and support with organizing facility planning, management, and other requirements shareholders coordination efforts for PVAHCS.Maintain issue log throughout all project phases.

    Shall be able to identify and have clear understanding of all outstanding project issues, plans for resolution, status, and verification upon request by the Government.

    Maintain project comment lists throughout all project phases. The contractor shall coordinate all comments with project stakeholders and ensure timely submission and response to comments made.
    Initiate and coordinate project RFIs throughout all project phases.

    The contractor shall manage and track RFIs in a manner that facilitates timely response and resolution of the RFI.Generate and provide other analyses, reports, and briefings as required to keep key stakeholders informed, enable decisions, and maintain project momentum.


    Qualifications:
    A 4-year degree from an ABET accredited institution in Engineering or Architecture Is required.
    Working knowledge of skill related to the development of professional level correspondence and the management of programs.

    Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as customer service skills due to daily interaction with various levels of authority.

    Experience working on healthcare facilities projects, maintenance, and operations.
    Experience managing healthcare projects.
    Experience with facilities planning and programming.

    Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and a thorough background check for access onto a military installation; please note the background check for this position extends past 7 years, in conformance with federal law and US Department of Justice guidelines for work on a military installation.
