Key Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for operational level understanding of the requirement of the client/customer

Site feasibility & Solar Systems Design and complete execution. Able to check site feasibility and provide the best suitable option for enhancing suitability.

Produce design drawing eg:
SLD, PV layout, Stringing, using AutoCAD software.

Develop design specification and functional requirements for projects.

Complete system designs for PV projects including site plans, mechanical racking and attachment plans, single-line electrical drawings, specification of BOS location and interconnection details, and labelling.

Designing of arrangements of the solar panels for Rooftop & Ground Mounted & other various supported Electrical equipment & selection of cables for plant including layouts & schematic diagrams and calculation of technical Sizing, BOQ/BOM.

Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning.

Perform computer simulation of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation system performance or energy production to optimize efficiency.

Provide support to technical design, review and approve engineering drawing submissions.

Ensuring compliance with all the specifications and requirements included in the signed EPC contracts.

Support Resource Assessment during feasibility studies stage and other commercial needs.

Working with BD to develop a plan for the project.

Prepare tender documents

Job Requirements

Possesses minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Renewable energy-related field

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in handling solar projects preferred

Has knowledge in PVSYST and AutoCAD

Has knowledge in electrical design concepts

Independent and a good team player

Analytical and organised with good problem-solving skills

High energy with a can-do and positive attitude, thrive in a dynamic environment and deliver within time constraints

Self-disciplined and have good organising abilities

Strong verbal and written communication

A passion for solar PV and a desire to develop new services in the solar market utilising new innovative technology
