**S****UMMARY:**
Communicate with Patients, Sales Representatives, Referral Sources (Doctors office, Case Managers, Nurses, etc.) with a high level of customer service. Must have strong knowledge of insurance eligibility verification process; know how to calculate deductibles and coinsurance for primary and secondary policies. Strong background possessed in Medicaid, Medicare, and Private Insurance documentation requirements. An in-depth knowledge adapted in regards to compliance standards. Strong multitasking and prioritizing tasks with great organization and detail is required. Collaborate strongly with co-workers in a team setting.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Contacts customer to introduce themselves and NuMotion Medical Supplies and assures that the customer understands the process involved in processing their initial order for Medical Supplies.
Advises customer that they are their Customer Care Representative and will be acting on their behalf to assure the smooth processing of their order.
Facilitates communication between the customer, third party payers, distributors, Doctors, Nurses, Case Managers. Marketing Reps and others as required to meet the customers needs and expectations.
Assures that customer paperwork is completed and received quickly and orders are processed in a timely manner by communicating regularly with the responsible parties.
Enters and maintains accurate and up to date information in Brightree.
Responds to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely manner working with other staff members to expedite delivery whenever possible.
Explains insurance requirements needed to qualify for specific products.
Required Skills **QUALIFICATIONS:**
**E****DUCATION/EXPERIENCE -** One year certificate from college or technical school: or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
**L****A****NGUAGE ABILITY -** Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine correspondence. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
**M****A****TH ABILITY -** Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages.
**REASONING ABILITY -** Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
**COMPUTER SKILLS -** To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Internet software and Order processing systems.
