    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
    The Wyoming State Hospital is seeking a Psychology Services Analyst.

    This position provides psychological services to a variety of clients, including people who have intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and mental health challenges.

    Services may include adaptive cognitive assessments and positive behavior support programs.

    The candidate will also serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team, train staff on behavior support programs, document behavioral data, and be a member of multiple teams and committees.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Provides behavior assessments such as adaptive testing and behavioral analysisDevelops and implements behavioral support plansTrain staff on behavior support programs, plans, and guidelinesCollects monitors and analyzes data to measure the effectiveness of training programs and client progress toward objectivesPerforms crisis interventionDiscusses client's treatment alternatives with family and professionalsProvides consultation to other agency staff members regarding effective programming approaches and problem-solvingObserve clients and living areas to monitor program implementation, effectiveness, and staff interactionsServes as a committee member and attends and participates in appropriate committee meetings and staff meetings


    PREFERENCES:
    Preference may be given to those with experience in mental illness

    KNOWLEDGE:
    Knowledge of the philosophy, aims, and goals of mental health counselingKnowledge of techniques for administering and evaluating psychological testsKnowledge of research methodologyKnowledge of collecting and analyzing dataKnowledge of counseling and behavioral intervention techniques or approaches in group and individual settingsKnowledge of psychological/behavioral disordersKnowledge of various assessment and evaluation toolsKnowledge of professional ethics


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education:
    Master's Degree or higherExperience:

    1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Psychology)


    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
    Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Behavior Analyst in the State of Wyoming or exempt from licensure pursuant to Wyoming Statute §


    PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
    Physical ability to lift, twist, bend, pull, and push up to 50 lbs

    NOTES:

    ExemptPre-employment drug and alcohol testing will be conducted on safety-sensitive positions.

    Drug testing will be completed on any position if reasonable suspicion exists.

    A background check, including the taking of fingerprints, will be completed through the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation, the Department of Family Services, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for every successful applicant.

    A current Influenza Vaccination is required.

    Employees of this facility will be expected to follow all rules and requirements established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regarding COVID-19.
