    Job Description:

    We are seeking a dynamic Process Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with production, leadership, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and optimize manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for providing technical support across all shifts, analyzing data to ensure product quality, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Sample parts and perform required tests according to established procedures.
    • Conduct stop/start quality checks on transfer lines.
    • Analyze parts and test data to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Collaborate with Production Leadership to develop corrective actions and implement process improvements.
    • Investigate technical issues and provide solutions.
    • Provide guidance and assistance to quality technicians and internal audit team members.
    • Train production operators on process requirements.
    • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
    • Ensure predicted improvements are implemented and measured.
    • Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) rules and regulations, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Work effectively in a team environment and communicate with employees at all levels.
    • Drive operational excellence and contribute to achieving business results.
    • Analyze and diagnose machine malfunctions to minimize downtime.
    • Dismantle, inspect, rebuild, and overhaul machines and components.
    • Perform rigging for equipment in a safe manner.
    • Provide detailed quotes and repair lead times.
    • Coordinate with outside vendors.
    • Instruct and guide lower-skilled employees in maintenance assignments.
    • Work from complex drawings, plans, and layouts.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment (ideally so automotive experience).
    • Ability to read and interpret part drawings.
    • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
    • Knowledge of PC programs and CAD is desirable.
