Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join the team at a school district in Orange, California. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff to assess, plan, and implement effective occupational therapy interventions to support students' academic and functional performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
Developing individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings and student needs
Providing direct occupational therapy services to students in individual or group settings
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' participation and success in the school environment
Documenting student progress, writing reports, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

Valid California Occupational Therapist license
Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting (desirable)
Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for working with children and supporting their development and success
