    Job Summary


    The Associate Director of Pharmacy Automation is responsible for management of all pharmacy automation technology (includes >290 Pyxis stations, 2 Swisslog Boxpickers, 5 carousels) and proactively addressing risk points to maintain stability.

    Tasks include forecasting automation device needs, system/server design for future Enterprise demands, and direct troubleshooting of Pharmacy Automation issues.

    This AD role works with a smaller, core team of six automation analysts and partners with Pharmacy Operations to ensure optimal delivery of customer service through automation.

    Skills / Knowledge / Abilities


    Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal); clinical experience; knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations, as well as any other related laws and regulations; project management, inpatient drug distribution and dispensing, and supply chain and contract management experience; and the ability to prioritize; collaborate and work within a team; and motivate, lead, and educate a team.

    Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education/Experience

    PGY1/PGY2 ASHP residency training and/or supervisory experience highly preferred.
